Vonage | Setup Yealink IP Phone
Follow this instruction on how to configure the Yealink SIP-T46U/S IP Phone.
1. First connect and power up the IP Phone with a network connection.
2. Open VBC Admin Portal at admin.vonage.com
2. Go to Users and Search for the User.
4. Click Edit
5. Select Extensions
6. Click Edit
7. Select Devices
8. Click Add Device
9. Enter the Device name (BR-###) Site-Last Four Digitals of the MAC Address
11. Select the Site Location
12. Select a Brand, Yealink
13. Select Model Yealink SIP-T146U/S IP Phone
14. Enter the Mac address
13. Click Save which should auto reboot the Phone. Then it will go into setup and firmware updates. (If does not reboot after 5 minutes, manually power cycle the device)
If Successful the Phone will display the Extension Number and the Registration/Provision Status on the Device menu on VBC Admin Portal should display successfully.
If the Phone failed to display the extension and the Registration/Provision status show: Currently not available.
1. On the Device setting page, scroll down to Phone Configuration
2. Copy the Phone configuration URL, you will need this later.
3. Next locate the IP address for the Phone by selecting Menu\Status on the IP Phone.
4. Once you locate the IP address, Open the web browser and enter the IP address
5. Enter the Username: admin and Password: admin
6. Select Settings and Auto Provision
7. Paste the URL from the Phone Configuration to the Server URL field.
8. Click Confirm
9. And click Auto Provision Now and it will go into Configuration updating mode.
10. The phone will automatically reboot and goes into setup and firmware updates.
If Successful the Phone will display the Extension Number and the Registration/Provision Status on the Device menu on VBC Admin Portal should display successfully.
